Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress best recognized for her appearances on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003, she has demonstrated her abilities as an actress by giving remarkable performances in TV series like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. Anna's performance as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 was her first major breakthrough. It was, however, her performance as Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's the rights of women) on the biographical All the Way film that made her famous as an actor. Chokher (2002), a dramatized version of the Rabindranath Tagore novel Chokher (2003) received much acclaim. The actress was the first Indian to be on the jury at the Cannes Film Festival. Bachchan was in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice which is a musical and a dance version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Her beauty and her fame was then merged for her debut English film. In 2006, she came back to Bollywood with her hit film Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). Abhishek Bachchan was a frequent actor as well as the father of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. In April 2007, she married the actor. The marriage united two powerful Bollywood personalities.
